LEWISTON – Mildred L. Schutt, 92, formerly of 4 Lara Lane, Sabattus, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 8, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Lisbon Falls, July 4, 1916, the daughter of the late William and Grace Merrill Schutt. She graduated from Lisbon Falls High School in 1933, and from Bliss College in 1936. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an accounting clerk at Horn Corporation in Ayer, Mass.

She was a member of the Pine Tree Grange of Lisbon, the Young at Heart Club and the Freedom Bowling League of Lewiston-Auburn. She was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed bowling until she was 90 years old and enjoyed the company of her cat.

She is survived by four nieces, Mary Ouellette and husband, Robert, Elizabeth Audet and husband, Russell, all of Lewiston, Kathy Cote of Bristol, Conn., and Michelle Schutt of Brandon, Fla.; a nephew, Brian Schutt and wife, Jennifer, of Lewiston; two sisters-in-law, Marguerite and Pauline Schutt; and special friends, Cathy and Gene Dunlap of Sabattus. She was predeceased by a brother, Arnold Schutt in 1989; and a nephew, Michael Schutt.
