On May 22 The Jesus Party Pentecostal Kids’ Church focused on Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day. The ministry’s patriotic mentor, Jerry DerBoghosian, spoke to inner-city children on the importance of “God and Country.” The children were then led in saying the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the singing of “God Bless America.” All attending received an Armed Forces action figure to take home as a reminder to pray for our military and their families.
