TD Banknorth will be announcing at a press conference this morning that it will open a 500-seat call center in the Auburn Mall.

The call center will occupy the space that Steve and Barry’s formerly occupied. Construction to renovate the facility will start later this year.

It is anticipated that the call center will employ up to 500 mostly full-time workers.
