WILTON – It’s the third Thursday of June, which means there is fun and entertainment planned for downtown Wilton.

Wilton’s Third Thursday event will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and features musical entertainment provided by Shepherd’s Pie. The group, who play and sing secular, rock n’ roll, rhythm and blues and jazz, will perform near the monument.

Shepherd’s Pie includes members Tim Wallace, lead guitarist; Jon Abel, bass; Chris Yardley, drums; Jodie Gunther, keyboard; and Katerine Poulson and Patty Schoen, vocalists.

A display of works by local artist Debbi Hiltz will be hung in the windows of Wilton Printed Products.

A Kids Fun Zone, including Simon Says, jump ropes, Frisbees and hula hoops, will also be offered near the monument.

Antique and special interest cars will be parked along the downtown street, and there will be a raffle to win a ride in one of the cars.

The local restaurants, and some businesses, will be open along with more local entertainment.

Residents and friends are invited to bring a chair, eat downtown and watch or join in the fun.
