Congratulations to the four Somali youths who recently graduated from Lewiston High School. By overcoming these obstacles, they have joined the ranks of those millions of immigrants to this country before them. Welcome.
They should make time to talk with some of the elder Franco-Americans in this community, as these elders have been where they are going and can probably help. I am confused, though, as the article stated there were four graduates, yet only three were featured. What about the other graduate?
This is the United States, we are against discrimination of all sorts, remember? Separate but equal is bad, separate and unequal is unthinkable.
Shame on the Sun Journal for allowing this to happen.
