Trouble getting out tough laundry stains, even with commercial products? Try using full-strength Breck Shampoo to remove grease, blood, grass stains, ink and more from clothes.
A 22-ounce spray bottle of Spray ‘n Wash Laundry Stain Remover is about $5.49, or 24 cents per ounce – compared to a 16-ounce bottle of Breck, which costs about 99 cents, or 6 cents per ounce.
Soak clothes overnight in a solution of water and Breck, and wash as usual. The stains will disappear without the use of expensive pre-treatment.
Figuring a family may use one spray bottle of stain remover every six months, the ounce-for-ounce savings is $4.17.
