Robert J. Kwesell

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md. — Robert “Bob” J. Kwesell, born and raised in Lewiston, of Montgomery Village, Md., died June 20.

Bob was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., earning an industrial engineering degree. His passion was in radio broadcasting, hosting “Call in” talk shows in Maryland, the Northeast and in the Mid-west; most recently with WRC in Washington, D.C., and WCBM in Baltimore, Md.

He was a former member of the choir in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, where he was most noted for his beautiful singing voice. He also proudly served in the U.S. Navy.

He was the cherished husband of 26 years to Linda L. Kwesell; loving
father of Jeanne Echols, Chandler, Ariz., Joanne Kwesell and her
husband, Art Lopez, Las Vegas, Nev., Jacqueline Rey and her husband,
Richard, Lakewood, Calif., and Jennifer Gilbreath and her husband,
David, Gilbert, Ariz.; adoring grandfather of Megan, Katie, Charlie,
Debbie and Evelyn; brother of Jack Kwesell and his wife, Cathy, of
Massachusetts, and David Kwesell and his wife, Sandi, of Colorado, and
the late Frances Ciccolo; son of the late Anne and John Kwesell;
faithful servant to his beloved cat, Sammie.
