Preston D. “Bucky” Buckingham

RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Preston D. “Bucky” Buckingham was celebrated Saturday at the Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Precious Lord take my Hand,” “You raise me up,” “Amazing Grace” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Readings were done by grandson, Jeremy Davino and granddaughter Lyndsey Buckingham. The eulogy was given by son-in-law, Rocky Davino. Pallbearers were Bruce Buckingham, Mike Buckingham, Rindell Heath, Jason Davino, Phil Toher and Rodney Davino. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery at a later date. A reception followed in the Parish hall. Military honors were provided by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program.
