RUMFORD — Police Department officers responded to 157 complaints from midnight June 12 to midnight June 22.

Arrests/summonses:
On June 12 at 1:12 a.m., Dale Korhonen, 40, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of disorderly conduct. Korhonen posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 12 at 1:12 a.m., Eric M. Richard, 33, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman K. Scott Mills on a charge of disorderly conduct. Hill posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 12 at 7:44 a.m., Mary Curran, 48, of Rumford was summoned by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of operating after suspension. Curran is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On June 12 at 11:30 a.m., Brent Wells, 40, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. F. David Bean after turning himself in for a warrant for failure to appear on a criminal mischief charge. Wells posted $650 cash bail. No court date is listed.

On June 12 at 10:53 p.m., Orlando Ortiz, 21, of Jay was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard for a warrant. Ortiz was unable to post $600 cash bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail with no listed court appearance. Ortiz was summoned on a charge of illegal possession of a useableamount of marijuana and summoned to Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 13 at 1:38 a.m., Jonathan Dube, 40, of Rumford was summoned by Sgt. James Bernard on a charge of illegal possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Dube is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 13 at 9:47 p.m., Rebecca Buck, 23, of Dixfield was summoned by Patrolman K. Scott Mills on a charge of operating after suspension. Buck is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On June 13 at 11:52 p.m., Wade Jipson, 43, of Rangeley was summoned by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of operating after suspension. Jipson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On June 16 at 6:45 a.m., 16-year-old Rumford male juvenile was charged by Patrolman Michael Belanger on charges of assault, theft and illegal possession of tobacco by a juvenile. The teen is scheduled to appear in Rumford Juvenile Court on Sept. 8.

On June 16 at 2:53 p.m., Michelle Hutchinson, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of domestic assault. Hutchinson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 16 at 2:53 p.m., Mark Hutchinson, 35, of Carthage was summoned by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of disorderly conduct. Hutchinson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 16 at 2:53 p.m., Daniel Alfredo, 35, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of disorderly conduct. Alfredo is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 17 at 12:59 a.m., Kenneth Felter, 34, of Rumford, was arrested by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of violation conditions of release. Felter wasn’t allowed to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail and given a date in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 17 at 5:15 a.m., Toby Beal, 28, of Rumford, was arrested by Patrolman K. Scott Mills on charges of unregistered motor vehicle and expired license. Beal posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On June 17 at 9:41 p.m., Brian Sicotte, 35, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Ian Theriault on a charge of domestic assault. Sicotte posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 17 at 9:41 p.m., Jennifer Welch, 28, of Mexico was arrested by Cpl. Matthew Noyes on charges of burglary, theft, violation conditions of release and several warrants. Welch was unable to post $9100 cash bail and was transported to the Oxford County jail. Welch is scheduled to appear in South Paris court Oct. 15.

On June 19 at 5:19 p.m., Ralph “Ed” Griffin, 55, of Rumford was summoned by Patrolman Michael Belanger on a charge of theft. Griffin is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 19 at 7:42 p.m., Thomas Bragdon, 26, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of furnishing liquor to minors. Bragdon posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 19 at 7:42 p.m., Matthew Welch, 19, of Mexico was summoned by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of illegal possession of liquor by a minor. Welch is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 19 at 11:23 p.m., Shannon Merriam., 38, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of violation conditions of release. Merriam wasn’t allowed to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail and ordered to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On June 19 at 11:23 p.m., Dennis St. Cyr, 37, of Rumford was summoned by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of illegal possession of a useableamount of marijuana. St. Cyr was given a date in Rumford District Court of Aug. 4.

On June 20 at 1:27 a.m., Marquis Forbes, 20, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on charges of assault and disorderly conduct, and summoned on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Forbes was given a date in Rumford District Court of Aug. 4.

On June 21 at 8:17 p.m., James Bulger, 58, of Mexico was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on charges of operating under the influence and leaving the scene of a property damage crash. Bulger posted $400 unsecured bail and was given a date in Rumford District Court of Sept. 8.

Assault

On June 20 at 9:08 a.m., Rumford resident reported being assaulted in the Brick Park. Victim opted to not press charges and requested the suspect be warned. Warning Issued.

Crash

On June 13 at 2:55 p.m., Cars driven by Laura Murphy, 18, of Rumford and Catherine Pache, 46, of Rumford collided at Maine Avenue and Franklin Street. Damage to Murphy’s 1996 Pontiac sedan was estimated at $4,000; to Pache’s Buick $3,500.

Criminal mischief

On June 12 at 10:06 a.m., Andover resident reported a person on Rumford Avenue kicked his car and dented the fender. Charges pending; no damage value listed.

On June 14 at 12:25 a.m., Andover resident reported $3,500 damage to a car he is borrowing. Incident under investigation.

Thefts

On June 12 at 10:06 a.m., Andover resident reported someone entered his vehicle on Rumford Avenue and stole $50 worth of medication. Case under investigation.

On June 14 at 1:10 p.m., Rumford resident reported two log chairs valued at $150 stolen from Blackberry Lane. Case under investigation.

On June 15 at 5:30 p.m., Rumford resident reported a $170 bicycle stolen while running at Hosmer Field. Case under investigation.

On June 17 at 10:39 a.m., Rumford resident reported a $10 handbag stolen while walking the track at Hosmer Field. Case under investigation.

On June 18 at 9:50 a.m., Ernest Street resident reported $68 worth of lumber stolen. Case under investigation.

Wanted
