BOSTON (AP) — The Boston Bruins have picked right wing Jordan Caron with the 25th overall selection in the NHL draft.
Caron is 19 years old. He had 36 goals with 31 assists last year in junior hockey in Quebec for Rimouski. He is 6-foot-2 and 199 pounds.
Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli was booed by the crowd when he said it was nice to be back in Montreal. The Bruins eliminated the Montreal Canadiens in the playoffs.
The NHL draft continues with rounds 2 through 7 on Saturday.
