Clarence E. Dunsmoor
1914 – 2009
PERU – Clarence Eugene Dunsmoor, 94, died Friday, June 26, at his residence on the Auburn Road.
He was born in Mexico, on Nov. 25, 1914, a son of the late Wilson and Marcella (Tucker) Dunsmoor. He graduated from Dixfield High School with the class of 1933. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II with Battery A, 445th Anti Aircraft Artillery Battalion, serving overseas. For many years he worked at Diamond International in West Peru and his later years were spent in the machine shop until his retirement in 1977.
He was married in South Paris, on July 27, 1960 to Marjorie Beatrice Ring, who survives of Peru. Other survivors include three nieces, Louise Keymer of California, Doris Goding of Yarmouth and Gwendolyn Bessey of South Paris.
He was predeceased by a brother, Walter Dunsmoor, who died in 1982.
