LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will present Marcus Gale’s “So Glad!” concert at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9. Children and their parents are invited to sing and dance along with Gale and his puppet friends.
Gale will sing, hum, play guitar, joke with his puppet friends, conduct kid interviews and lead families in the “So Glad!” dance.
His original songs are about waking up, playtime, riding in the car, best friends and the family dog. He offers positive upbeat messages, warm humor and a celebration of the simple things in life.
Gale is from North Berwick and has been performing a mix of songs, stories and puppetry full-time for more than 10 years. He picked up a guitar at age 12, took to the stage and has been singing ever since. His concerts are enjoyed by all ages. Gales tours nationally singing for children and their families.
The performance is free and those with tickets will be seated first. To pick up free tickets, drop by the Children’s Room of the Lewiston Public Library. For more information, call 513-3133 or visit lplonline.org.
