LISBON — The Lisbon Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the MTM Center, rooms 5 and 6, School Street. The society will host members of the 20th Maine Civil War Reenactment Group. The group will present a program on men and women’s clothing during the Civil War, which will include “underpinnings.”
The meeting is open to the public at no charge. Those attending should use the rear entrance behind the Methodist Church and MTM Center.
The society archives and museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 9; 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 10; and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11. The 1874 Ridge School will be open from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 12.
The 20th Maine will hold an encampment behind MTM beginning Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited at no charge.
