NORWAY — Philip DuBois, administrator of Market Square Health Care Center, recently announced that Market Square has been honored by the Department of Labor with the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program of Maine award for a second time.
State Reps. Terry Hayes of Buckfield and James Hamper of Oxford, Jane Gilbert, deputy commissioner of the Department of Labor, and David Wacker, director of Workplace Safety and Health with the Department of Labor, were on hand to celebrate the staff at Market Square Health Care Center for their achievement at a presentation June 24. Market Square employees and the safety committee were praised for their continued commitment to safety. Gilbert also noted that Market Square is the only healthcare facility south of Aroostook County to earn the SHARP award.
