- Members of the George Armstrong Custer Post 7 Grand Army of the Republic Association and friends conducted original Civil War memorial services at the grave site of Stephen L. T. Marriner, located in Riverside Cemetery in Lewiston. Marriner died as a prisoner of war in the Confederate Prison located in Salisbury, N.C., on Dec. 1, 1864.
