- The Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Auburn held its Disciples in Mission Reflection Day recently. Participants circulated ideas that will have a lasting impact on the parish’s direction. Refreshments were served, followed by the opening prayer, introductions and small group discussions. Disciples in Mission is a new Catholic evangelizing program. The plan to make evangelizing a normal part of Catholic life will give evangelists the tools and support they need to carry out the ministry and reach out to those who do not belong to a faith community.
