AUBURN – The July Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours will be held July 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gritty McDuff’s Brew Pub overlooking the Androscoggin River at the corner of Court and Main Streets in Auburn.
The chamber’s Business After Hours is held once a month at a chamber member’s place of business. Food and prizes are featured, as well as sharing fellowship with friends and colleagues, old and new. The event is considered one of the most valuable networking opportunities offered by the chamber for members and nonmembers alike.
In operation since 1988, Gritty’s opened its brew pub in Auburn in 2005. It has historically been involved in the communities it serves. Recently the Gritty’s Bike Team was the 10th highest fundraising team in the American Lung Association of Maine’s 2009 Trek Across Maine. The team raised $16,490 for the cause.
