AUBURN — The Distributors, which plays mainly blues-based rock with improvised jams, R&B and pop thrown into the mix, will take the stage Tuesday, July 14, in Festival Plaza. The concert put on by the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Making up the group are Dan Johnson, vocals and bass; Jody Demers, drums and percussion; and Ken Goodman, guitars and vocals.

As part of the summer concert series, there will be a raffle for a guitar, amplifier and accessories to help fund a scholarship in honor of the late, legendary musician Lenny Breau; an effort is also under way to erect a permanent memorial in his honor. Anyone interested in these projects may contact Goodman at 784-5779 or Pete Bushway at the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department at 333-6601, extension 2100.
