AUBURN — Richard Martin, director for Lewiston/Auburn Community Little Theatre’s Aug  14 through 23 production of “Grease” is announcing the cast and crew. Martin is giving the classic musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey a fresh and electrifying approach assisted by Beth Barefoot as music director and Lacey Moyse as choreographer.

Luke Ellis and Mary Randall have the lead roles as Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski.

Also appearing are Rylee Doiron as Rizzo; Mary Shomaker as Frenchy; Brittany Martin as Marty; Sara Noyes as Jan; Carl Zurhorst as Kenickie; Derrick Lacasse as Rodger; James Kramlich as Sonny; Andreas Wyder as Doody; Jordan Richmond as Eugene; Susannah Wong as Patty Simcox; Lacey Moyse as Cha-Cha; Anita Charles as Miss Lynch; Robert Bohren as Teen Angel; and Stephen Barter as Vince Fontain.

Completing the cast in the Ensemble are Jesse Juntura, Chris Belanger, Taylor Rousseau, Hannah Perry, Briana Chu and Hillary Perry.

The production crew is Karen Mayo, producer; Adam P. Blais , asst. director/stage manager; Amber Thibault and Carla Henault, asst. stage managers; David Holinger, technical director, assisted by Katy Bouchard; Lisa Patton, property designer; Richard Martin, lighting and set designer; Chad Gagnon, light board operator.

Craig Zurhorst is sound designer/soundboard operator. The set construction crew includes Tim Traynor, Phil Vampatella, Travis Mayo, Richard Martin, Stan Spilecki and Brandon Otis. Set Decorators are Martha Boardman, Ellen Hodgkin, Susan Fourness and Stan Spilecki.

Kira Gavin, Patty Gray and Ashley Jewell are costumers assisted by Loretta Perry and Karen McArthur. Jeff Soifer is taking the lobby photos and Rachel Morin is publicist.

Performances will be at the air-conditioned auditorium at Lewiston Middle School, Central Ave. Show times are at 8 p.m. on Aug. 14, 15, 21, 22; at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 20; and at 2 p.m. on Aug. 16 and 23.
