DURHAM — An investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s office Monday has concluded that there was nothing suspicious in an early Saturday morning garage fire on Quaker Meetinghouse Road, that resulted in excess of $50,000 in damage, Fire Chief Bill St. Michel said.

The exact cause was not determined and it was noted that the investigation “could not eliminate electrical malfunction within an energized electrical circuit” as a possible cause.
