LEWISTON — Andrea Harmon recently celebrated 10 years of employment with Support Solutions of Auburn, becoming the first employee of the organization to reach that milestone.
Harmon started in April 1999 as a direct support professional and has continued in that role.
Support Solutions is a private, nonprofit agency that has been supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1997. From its offices in Lewiston and Saco, the agency offers residential, day habilitative, personal support and mental health services.
In her role as a direct support professional, Harmon has empowered people to ask “Why not?”
Over her 10 years, she has successfully supported many people through their journeys of becoming full-fledged contributing members of society, according to agency leaders.
