Robert Arthur Brown

BUCKFIELD — Robert Arthur Brown, 66, of Buckfield, died at his residence on July 19.
He was born in Biddeford, Sept. 4, 1942, the son of Arthur P. Brown and Bertha P. Willey and was educated in local schools. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1963 until 1966 and had worked at Central Maine Medical Center as a boiler operator for 38 years. He loved farming, hunting and fishing and owned and operated Stone Gun Shop in Buckfield from 1993 until this year.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Frances (Huston) Brown of Buckfield; two sons, Charles Brown and his companion, Oralie O’Neil, of Buckfield and Russell Brown and his wife, Michelle, of Turner; one sister, Beverly Bassett of North Anson; two brothers, David Brown of Lewiston and Joseph Brown of Greene; and one grandson, Matthew Brown of Turner.
