NEGRIL, Jamaica — The wedding of Jessica Ann Burdin and Anthony Wayne Kline was held at 11 a.m. on May 19 in the resort gardens in Jamaica, followed by a honeymoon there. A Jamaican minister officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Kline is the daughter of Kendall and Ann Burdin of Wilton. Mr. Kline is the son of Wayne and Donna Kline of Norridgewock.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless tea-length gown of chiffon with beaded bodice and she carried three white roses with greens and white ribbon.
Attendants for the couple were Ann Burdin, mother of the bride, and Wayne Kline, father of the bridegroom.
On May 30 the couple exchanged their own vows and had a unity sand ceremony performed by Judi Martin, friend of the bridegroom’s family, at Champions in Waterville. A friend of the couple, Tara Schultz, sang “God Bless the Broken Road.” The bride wore her tea-length chiffon gown and carried a bouquet of white and purple roses.
The matron of honor was Janalynn White, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Rebecca Scott, another sister. Bridesmaids were Kaitlyn Burdick and Megan Burdick, cousins of the bride.
Matt Fearon, friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were
Matt Ramsdell and Nick Meader, friends of the bridegroom, and Justin
Scott, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed at Champions in Waterville. The couple is residing in Biddeford.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Maine in Gorham with a degree in criminology and political science. She is employed at the Maine Correctional Center as an assistant classification officer.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Skowhegan High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Southern Maine in Gorham with a degree in criminology and political science. He is employed at Wright Express in South Portland as a fraud analyst.
