LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine has announced that registrations for fall swim lessons will begin on Monday, Aug. 10. Classes are available for all abilities from age 6 months to adult. Participants for all classes must be members of the YWCA.
Classes will begin on Sept. 8 and finish on Oct. 31. Rates for lessons are: $69 for
eight weeks of half hour classes, $63.50 for seven weeks of half hour
classes, $86.50 for seven weeks of hour classes and $70 for 10 classes
of Introduction to Competitive Swimming.
Private swim lessons are also available by appointment. The cost for
private swim lessons is $25 each half hour or $45 each hour session.
Those who register for
sessions on Aug. 10 and 11 only will qualify for a special offer that includes a family
general and combo swim pass. There is a limit of one pass each family.
The pass is valid Aug. 31 through Oct. 31. Those registering are asked to mention
