STRATTON — The Dead River Area Historical Society’s pictorial 2010 calendars are now available. The cover features the Stratton High School Class of 1960 — 50 Years Ago with Shirley Bonnell, Iola Nile, Connie Knowles, Barry Fotter and Brenda Richards. Also on the cover are chaperone Dot Carvile and the bus driver.

The calendar picture for January is the Cox Girls: Carol, Olive, Marian and Irene in 1981; February, Flagstaff Schoolhouse about 1910; March, high school girls basketball team, 1957-58; April, Stratton High School students in 1941, Eleanor Blackwell, Roland Fotter, Linwood Wright, Bob Tague, Johnny Thomas and Geraldine Durrell; and May, Stratton High School seniors on a class trip in 1957.

Those with the last name of Bachelder, Bean, Blackwell, Blanchard, Bourque, Brimigion, Collins, Cox, Currie, DeRocher, Durrell, Dyer, Emery, Fotter, Hanson, Hennigar, Jones, Kelly, Kern, Knapp, Knowles, Lander, Leclair, Nile, Phelps, Parsons, Porter, Seeley, Sylvester, Tague, Targett, Taylor, Thomas, Townsend, Wilbur, Willard, Williams, Wright or Wyman may be interested in the calendar.

Calendars are available at Pine’s Market, Northland Cash, Fotter’s Market and Arnold Trail Quality Fuel and Sports Center.

There are many pictorial calendars left from previous years for sale at $2.50 each. Those wishing may also order a cook book for $6 or two for $10 from the same address.
