Grange outing

WALES — Members of the Danville Junction Grange will gather for their annual summer outing at the Bill Hatch Farm, Leeds Junction Road, around 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13. Members are asked to bring their own lunch, a salad or dessert to be shared and their lawn chairs. There will be a grill available for cooking. All members and guests are welcome. The rain date for the outing will be Thursday, Aug. 27.

Bridge results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose on Aug. 10 were as follows: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second/first in B and C, Roger Labbe and Larry Fortier; third, Lu Bilodeau and Luke Merry, fourth, Lucille Theriault and Nancy Lindgren; second in strata B, Eileen Potvin and Della Starbird; third in B/second in C, Eileen Minnehan and Ed Lee.

Stroke screening

AUBURN — Residents living in and around the Auburn community can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. Life Line Screening will be at the High Street Congregational Church, 106 Pleasant St., on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Appointments will begin at 10 a.m.
