Things to eat – Brought to you by non-profit organizations: Breakfast with Balloons, scallops, lobster rolls, hamburgers, sausage sandwiches and much more. Main meals under the big tent: barbecued chicken & ribs on Fri. and Sat. evening.
Things to do & see – Carnival rides, business trade exhibits, crafters, fireworks, novelty & souvenir vendors, self & guided tours of local landmarks, climbing wall, kids’ area, games, activities and demonstrations.
Breakfast – Watch the launches while you enjoy a pancake or continental breakfast Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning.
Restaurants & lodging – For our out-of-town guests, a Restaurant & Lodging Guide is available which provides listings of all the restaurants and lodging establishments in the greater Lewiston/Auburn area as well as information on area attractions. NOTE: If you are in need of lodging during the Festival, please book your reservations early, as rooms fill up quickly!
Landowner relations – We ask that everyone involved in the festival, including spectators, volunteers and balloonists, be respectful of landowners’ rights and responsibilities.
Smoking – Due to the fire hazard created by the use of propane gas and the risk of damage to the balloon envelopes, no smoking is allowed in Balloon Festival launch areas.

Getting there
From points north: Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 80 (formerly Exit 13) – Lewiston. Follow signs for Lewiston onto Lisbon Street. Continue on Lisbon Street through downtown. At the intersection of Main and Lisbon Street turn left go down and turn left on Lincoln St..
From points south: Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 75 (formerly Exit 12) – Auburn. From the exit turn left and follow Washington Street/ Minot Avenue to the intersection with Court Street. Turn right onto Court Street go down and over the bridge and right onto Lincoln.
