Julienne T. Hanson
1918 – 2009
FARMINGTON – Julienne T. Hanson, 91, passed away Aug. 22, at Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center in Farmington.
She was born in Rumford, on June 20, 1918, the daughter of Francis and Rebecca Dorion. She graduated from Stephens High School in 1936.
She married H.E. (Eddie) Hanson on Oct. 12, 1940. She spent her life as a homemaker, mother to her large brood, and assistant to her husband in his numerous business ventures.
She is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Elaine and Thomas Dickson of Rumford and Marlena and Hamid Akhbari of Dayton, Ohio; four sons and their spouses, Peter and Marsha of Poway, Calif., Michael and Rebecca of Gettysburg, Pa., Dennis and Patricia of Merrimack, N.H., and Jeffrey and Veronica of Dixfield, and daughter-in-law, Donna Hanson of Dixfield; one sister, Eleanor Wooters of Hollis, N.H.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years; a son, James; granddaughter, Beverly; a sister, Rita Cocca; and a brother, Alphonse Dorion.
