THE DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS – Vanessa Williams is your host for the 36th annual gala honoring the best in sudsy drama, daytime talk, game shows and children’s programming. Among this year’s highlights: A Lifetime Achievement Award for the iconic PBS series “Sesame Street” and a special tribute to “Guiding Light,” the CBS soap opera about to end an incredible 72-year run. As for the still-viable soaps, “All My Children” faces off against “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “Days of Our Lives” for top honors. 8 p.m. tonight, The CW.

TONIGHT: As the fang-tastic season of “True Blood” continues, things are spiraling out of control in Bon Temps. Maybe the all-powerful Vampire Queen (Evan Rachel Wood) can bring some calm. 9 p.m., HBO.

TONIGHT: Break out the martinis. On “Mad Men,” Roger and Joan are throwing dueling bashes. We expect some wild times – and a few hangovers. 10 p.m., AMC.

MONDAY: We’ve been told that the Season 5 finale of “Weeds” will “blow your mind.” Don’t be surprised if it also gives you the munchies. 10 p.m., Showtime.

TUESDAY: “Ella Es El Matador” (“She Is the Matador”), the latest installment of “P.O.V.,” focuses on a pair of female bullfighters who have taken to the ring to confront charging beasts and blatant sexism. 10 p.m, PBS.

TUESDAY: Worried about making it through a nuclear disaster or a terrorist attack? With a never-say-die attitude, the new series “Surviving Disaster” will tell you how. 10 p.m., Spike.

WEDNESDAY: The “CBS Fall Preview” is a sneak peek at some of the new fare about to hit the small screen, including shows headed by Julianna Margulies and Jenna Elfman. 8:30 p.m., CBS.

THURSDAY: The title for this week’s episode of “Project Runway” is “Rumble on the Runway.” Say no more. We’re so there. 10 p.m., Lifetime.

FRIDAY: If you missed it the first time around, here’s another chance to catch the dazzling pilot episode of “Glee.” It’s a music-filled drama-comedy that hits all the right notes. 9 p.m., Fox.

SATURDAY: There’s plenty of trash talk going on in the season finale of the “Bill Engvall Show” when Bill quarrels with a neighbor over garbage cans. 9:30 p.m., TBS.
