Albert and Grace O’Keefe

LISBON — Albert and Grace O’Keefe of Lisbon were guests of honor recently at a party in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Party hosts were children and grandchildren of the couple and the gathering was held at the home of the couple, where a barbecue was held. The couple received a 52-inch TV.

Mr. O’Keefe and the former Grace Hall were married June 24, 1959, in Staten Island, N.Y. Their children and spouses are Albert and Liz O’Keefe, Daniel and Dawn O’Keefe, Michael and Jill O’Keefe, Dennis and Angela O’Keefe, Colleen and Frank Sardanelli and Kathleen and Joe Kilsby. Their grandchildren are Brittney, Molly, Ryan, Danny and Albert O’Keefe, Ashley and Catie O’Keefe, Patrick Satiago, Michael Cyriacks, Nora Grace Cyriacks and Jayme and Kellie Kilsby.

Mrs. O’Keefe was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and lived there until 2001. She is retired from Volunteers of America Early Learning Center, was a New York City Police Department crossing guard and enjoys visits with her grandchildren and family and traveling.

Mr. O’Keefe was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and lived there until his retirement in 2001. He worked for Plumbers Local in New York City for 32 years before his retirement to Lisbon. He enjoys traveling and fishing.

They are members of First Assembly of God Church in Lewiston.

Family members came from New Jersey and New York. Also attending was a brother, Bob Hall, and family from Sabattus.
