VASSALBORO – No. 5 player Danny Nadeau shot a team-low 39 to help lead St. Dom’s to a victory over Madison in the Mountain Valley Conference golf championships on Monday at Natanis.
Nadeau’s 39 provided the Saints with a 162-166 advantage over Madison in the team medal, worth two points in the Saints 5-2 victory in a battle between unbeaten golf teams.
Madison (12-1) won the top tw0 matches with brothers Seth and Zac Sweet defeating Dylan Rodrigue (41) and Chris Bryant (41).But the Saints (13-0) won the final three matches with Cody Rodrigue (41), Joe Bryant (41) and Nadeau.
Next up for the Saints is the state individual and team qualifier Wednesday, also at Natanis.
