A group of local golfers and friends got together to plan the second annual Colon Richard Memorial Golf Tournament, with all proceeds to benefit Franklin County Special Olympians. Pictured are Raymond Ouellette, tournament chairman and Gerold Toothaker, chairman of the Jay AMVETS Special Olympics Committee and the Franklin County area manager for Maine Special Olympics. The golf tournament raised more than $2,500. The funds are used to provide activities for local Olympians, such as the Spring and Winter Games, bowling about six times a year and a few dances each year.
