Lucille and Edmond Morissette

LEWISTON — Edmond and Lucille Morissette of Lewiston recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 10, 1959, at Holy Family Church and exactly 50 years later returned to the same church to renew their wedding vows during a private ceremony officiated by the Rev. Frank Murray.

Having all their children present and participating in the ceremony and a song sung by their granddaughter, made for a very memorable occasion for all. An anniversary dinner followed at Marco’s Restaurant.

The couple has five children, 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
