LEWISTON — Healthy Androscoggin invites community members to an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2. Healthy Androscoggin is located at 130 East Ave., lower entrance to the YWCA.

Visitors can get a tour of the new office, meet the staff and find out more about the ways Healthy Androscoggin works with the community to encourage health and wellness.

New and updated health resource guides will be available, such as the Androscoggin County Farm Guide, a local foods guide; the Recreational Opportunities Guide, which has maps and explanations of the places to be physically active in the community; and many materials concerning tobacco cessation and substance abuse prevention.
