Last season’s record: 11-8, lost in Western B quarterfinals.
Returning letter winners: Seniors – Laura Getchell (5-9 forward), Kassie Wilson (6-0 center), Molley Mooney (5-6 guard), Alena Grant (6-0 center), Morgan Wilson (5-5 guard), Mikayla Mitchell (5-3 guard); Juniors –  Alicia Valente (5-9 forward), Meghan Dehetre (5-8 guard), Rachel Edson (5-6 guard); Sophomore – Maggie Chaplin (5-7 forward).
Key losses: Rachel Clement (guard), Terri-Lynn Sanborn (guard), Amanda Valente (forward).
Outlook: The Patriots lost experience in the backcourt but still return starters in Getchell (9.7 ppg, 7 rpg), Wilson (7.3 ppg, 7.6 rpg) and Valente (4 ppg, 6 rpg). Dehetre started as a freshman was missed last season to injury. GNG has nine players that have played three seasons which should help fill talent lost to graduation. The Patriots have a formidable post game with size, experience and athleticism. That should keep GNG competitive and in the chase for the tourney spot.
