Last year’s record: 0-18
Returning letter winners: Seniors – Patricia DeFosse (5-8 forward), Kailey Martin (5-9 center), Jaime Swart (5-8 forward), Sage Sylvia (5-6 guard), Ruth Choate (5-0 forward); Junior –  Kirstin McCombs (5-7 forward).
Key losses: Kim Archibald (forward), Shelby Turcotte (guard), Carley Denis (guard), Ashlee LaBonte (guard), Chandel Bouthot (forward).
Promising newcomers:  Junior – Atong Reyak (6-2 center), Lauren Eldridge (5-5 guard); Sophomores – Kenzie Sullivan (5-6 guard), Kayla Hamel (5-6 guard), Dani Estes (5-6 guard).
Outlook: The Blue Devils lost key components from last year. Archibald and Turcotte graduated while a number of others didn’t return. That leaves Lewiston with another young squad and many players stepping into larger roles. The seniors did see action last year and showed promise. Ball handling and turnovers were a factor last year and could be again as the young Blue Devils get acclimated to the varsity level.
Coach’s comment:  “We expect to play hard every minute of every game. We want improvement in all areas of play. We expect to end the season competitively with respect. We know how hard it is to win in the KVAC and are looking to upset as many teams as we can.” – Coach Mike McGraw
