Boys: Seniors – Richie Brooks, Kelton Cullenberg, Nick Wilkins, Jared Foster; Juniors – Brody Hines, Tim Andrews; Sophomores – Jonah Jones, North Kay. 
Key losses: Girls: Meredith Allen. Boys: Adam Fissette, Welly Ramsey, Derek Rowe.
Promising newcomers: Girls: Junior – Alex Allen; Freshmen – Janel Brooks, Shireen Luick, Deanna Richards, Emily Roberts. Boys: Freshmen – Jake Corell, Zach Veayo.
Outlook: The girls team tied with Leavitt for the Nordic Title at the Class A state meet last year. Aseltine is the defending state champion in both disciplines, and the nucleus of the team remains very young. The boys also won a Class A title and have a deep roster of athletes who are exceptional in both cross country running and skiing. While Nordstrom expects a tighter race for the crown this year, he believes the Cougars remain a factor.
