Key losses: Meghan Wormwood (112), Caitlyn Sampson (145/152), John Wright (189).
Promising newcomers: Freshmen – Bill Leahy, Dustin Edwards, Dan Peterson.
What to expect: The Vikings lack depth, so it will be important for each individual to focus at each practice and push themselves. Returnees Paine, Buker, Stearns and Cummings could surprise. The team will find the going rough in the KVAC as the wrestlers learn how to compete. The trio of freshmen need mat time in order to improve. The objective is to stay on course and be geared up for the second half of the season.
