HANOVER — This town’s first community Christmas tree-lighting in many years takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, in front of the town office.

The office is located on the Ferry Road.

Town Clerk Clem Worcester said desserts, hot chocolate and coffee will follow as townspeople have a chance to gather, visit and welcome in the holiday season.
