AUBURN — The city will not collect trash or recyclables on New Year’s Day, and will push Christmas Day collections back to Saturday Dec. 26.

The changes are being made to accomodate the holidays. No trash will be collected on either Christmas Day or New Years Day. Trash collectors will follow their regular Friday route on Dec. 26.

The city will not collect trash or recycling for residents with regular Friday collectons on Jan. 1.

Collections on other days won’t change because of the holidays. Normal Friday trash collections will begin again in Jan. 8.
