LEWISTON — Alicia F. Curtis has joined the law firm of Berman & Simmons at 129 Lisbon St.
Curtis graduated from the University of Maine School of Law, summa cum laude, where she served as an articles editor for the Maine Law Review and received the Faculty Significant Achievement Award. Prior to law school, she obtained her masters degree in social work and worked in that field for 10 years.
After graduating from law school, Curtis entered private practice, concentrating on matters involving medical malpractice and health law. In 2007, she received the Vincent L. McCusick Award for the best article published in the Maine Bar Journal in 2006. At Berman & Simmons, her practice will focus on personal injury, products liability and nursing home litigation.
