LEWISTON – A Lewiston man was being held at the Androscoggin County Jail on $2,500 cash bond following an early Sunday morning arrest on five charges stemming from a domestic violence incident.

Duane R. Hoffman Jr., 20, of 77 Rideout Ave. No. 13-1, Lewiston, was arrested at 5:55 a.m. Sunday and charged with kidnapping, domestic violence assault, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence terrorizing and unlawful sexual touching.

Lt. Mark Watson of the Lewiston Police Department said that officers responded to report of domestic violence and Hoffman was arrested. He added that the case remains under investigation.
