• A commercial truck driven by Joel M. McDonald, 48, of Auburn, struck the back of a van driven by Alison C. MacFawn, 35, of Auburn, while MacFawn was stopped in traffic at 8:10 a.m. Thursday at Main and Russell streets. Damage to MacFawn’s 2001 Toyota was estimated at $2,500; to the 2000 Sterling, driven by McDonald and owned by Ace Hardware of Auburn, $500.
