Robert R. Rousseau
LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Robert R. Rousseau was celebrated by the Rev. Nathan March on Wednesday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul of the Prince of Peace Parish. Robert’s children draped their father’s casket with the burial pall that represents Baptism into a new life at the entrance of church. The first reading was read by Donna Thibodeau and Bonnie Rousseau. The second reading was read by Craig Rousseau. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Roger and Sharon Morin. After a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, committal prayers were recited by Father March. A poem was then read by Donna Thibodeau in honor of Robert. Then all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Pallbearers were Kevin, Craig and Chris Rousseau, Maurice Drouin and Philip Gagne. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.
