AUBURN — The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer “Supervising People: The Essential Skills for Leaders.” The five-part series will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays, Jan. 8 to Feb. 5. The cost is $315, including workbooks and materials. The noncredit course is open to the public.
The course will help managers, supervisors and team leaders identify communication barriers, performance issues and will provide tools to deal with difficult employees. In the interactive and thought provoking program, participants will to learn how to address the difficult issues and improve team productivity.
Topics will include communication, coaching for improved performance, handling difficult employees, teambuilding and team problem solving.
