FARMINGTON — The next “Prescriptions for Health” presentation at Franklin Memorial Hospital will focus on skin disorders and treatment. The event, featuring Dr. Joshua Sparling, will take place from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, in the Chisholm Room at the hospital.

The interactive program will include information about skin cancer
prevention and treatment, the three types of skin cancer, psoriasis
treatment with light therapy and acne treatments. The presentation is part of Franklin Memorial Hospital’s monthly community health information series that is free and open to the public.

Sparling is the lead physician at Franklin Health Dermatology and is board-certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
