An original production
On Friday, Jan. 22, The Theater Project of Brunswick will premiere “La Fille at Tess’ Market,” an original musical by founder and Artistic Director Al Miller. The play is about Theodora, better known as La Fille, a longtime resident of Brunswick who was seen on Maine and Pleasant streets every day except Sunday, collecting bottles and cans. As he got to know her, Miller realized how little we know about people if we don’t take time with them. “La Fille,” which is a fantasy rather than a realistic historical play, will run for four weekends. All tickets are pay-what-you-want, with a suggested price of $18. They are available online at www.theaterproject.com or by calling 729-8584. The Theater Project is at 14 School St. “La Fille” cast members, clockwise, are Jim Hall as the Musician, Don Weatherbee as the Dancer and Jean Shaw as La Fille.
