On Friday, Jan. 22, singer-songwriter Clara Berry, a Kennebunk native and UMass Lowell student, will perform at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. Berry’s expressive vocals, in the style of Tori Amos and Carole King, can go from soft and breathy to strong and confident from song to song. Her piano playing is eloquent and simplistic. On Saturday, Jan. 23, the spirited Baldhill Bluegrass Band will perform. Band members, all from New Gloucester, are Ben DeTroy, mandolin; Mike Conant, fiddle and banjo; Chris Ricardi, guitar; and Todd Burrowes, bass. Both shows start at 9 p.m. There is no cover.
