Grange meeting

POLAND — Excelsior Grange 5, 446 Harris Hill Road, will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the hall. Following the business meeting, the subject of the program will be Valentine’s Day, under the direction of Barbara Driscoll. Members and friends of the grange are invited to attend. There will be refreshments at the close of the meeting.

Bridge play

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Feb. 2 were as follows: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; third, Nancy Lindgren and Les Buzzell; fourth, Anna Vitiello and Mike True; first in B, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; second/third tie, Cynthia and Bill Clifford with Donna Bartlett and Sue Kaluzynski.

Winners at Schooner Estates on Feb. 3 were: first, Mike True and Mike St. John; second, Claire Lyons and Anna Vitiello; third, Tom Dahlberg and David Wallace.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.

Bottle drive

AUBURN — Edward Little High School boys’ ice hockey will conduct a bottle drive in Auburn, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. They will collect bottles to support the hockey program.

Square dance

SOUTH PARIS — The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club
will have its
annual Sweetheart Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the
Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street. Walt Bull will call a class
level dance
alternating with plus level for more advanced dancers. Carol Stewart
will cue the round dancing. Decorations will be in
the Valentine theme.

Admission is $6 each person with
refreshments at
intermission. Nondancers
