Worship service

SOUTH PARIS — Ben Tucker will lead the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Feb. 7, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St. Renee Wales will lead the Sunday School and the music will be directed by Forest Perkins. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Child care is provided. All are welcome.

Rotary speaker

BRIDGTON — The Bridgton Lake Region Rotary Club
will host Alan S. Manoian, community and economic development director for Bridgton, at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 11. Manoian will provide an update of current community programs
and projects, including the formation of the Young Professionals Group
and the 2010 Comprehensive Plan for Bridgton, a blueprint of how
Bridgton will grow over the next 10 to 20 years.

The breakfast meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Bridgton Alliance Church.

MECHANIC FALLS — The Waterford World’s Fair will have a public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at
the Congregational Hall, Elm Street. The menu will include turkey and turkey pot pie, string
beans, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, rolls, desserts and beverage. Cost is $7 for adults and
$3.50 for children. For

Square dance

SOUTH PARIS — The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club will have its
annual Sweetheart Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street. Walt Bull will call a class level dance
alternating with plus level for more advanced dancers. Carol Stewart will cue the round dancing. Decorations will be in
the Valentine theme.

Admission is $6 each person with refreshments at
